History
The origins of today’s MOS-TANGRAM AG lie in the realization that many of the demands placed on software for mail order sales were formerly not covered by the available solutions. This situation prompted the first conceptual and programming work back in 1990.
Between 1991 and 1995, extensive tests were carried out in an international mail order house established specifically to ensure that the mail order sales program worked in actual day-to-day practice and to improve it even further.
The first commercial installation of the mail order software was carried out in 1995. In order to conduct further development and sales in a professional environment, MOS - Mail Order Systems GmbH was established. The company was the brainchild of electrical engineer Markus Käch, who draws on decades of experience in information processing and programming, and Ulrich Kuratli, who studied marketing planning and has over 25 years as a mail order distributor under his belt.
MOS-TANGRAM software, which is still being further developed and enhanced today, went on to become a worldwide success story: All over Europe, and in the USA as well, some 100 installations of the mail order solution have been realized.
In July 2005, MOS - Mail Order Systems GmbH changed its name to MOS-TANGRAM AG.
