Articles

Any number of articles can be managed using MOS-TANGRAM software. The following options are available for article management:

  • Different sizes or other variations
  • The option of defining the article as a set of articles for a defined set price or proportional price when purchased individually
  • Bills of materials and BOM articles
  • Drop shipments (shipped direct from supplier to customer under our name and with our shipping papers)
  • Articles on consignment (only purchased from supplier upon customer order)
  • Any length of numerical or alphanumerical article number
  • Any number of alias article numbers, old article numbers, prefixes and suffixes
  • Article descriptions with text fragment search in various languages
  • Any length of extra text field, with possibility to print text on invoice, delivery note and/or messages, reminders, etc.
  • Any number of freely selectable article attributes (title and content) as internal information and selection property
  • "Fuzzy search," i.e. article search according to features such as color, form, weight, property, etc.
  • Classification according to material group (up to 9999 groups possible) and material sub-groups (up to 9999 sub-groups possible) or purchaser/purchasing group
  • Customs number and declaration text
  • Prices, each allocated to different clients (gross/net), incl. client’s pricing history
  • Cumulative contribution margins per article
  • Simultaneous allocation to multiple suppliers and automatic MRP suggestion for main supplier
  • Automatic display of supplier’s article number, supplier currency, procurement lead time for ordering from suppliers
  • Display of stored images and notes (several DIN-A4 pages possible)
  • Indication of maximum order quantity: "number typo" stop with warning
  • Allocation to warehouse or multiple warehouses simultaneously
