Catalog Management
The software has an integrated Catalog Management System for creating any number of catalogs with any number of pages and articles, including cost management (lithography, graphics, printing). Any number of stylesheets can be stored.
The MOS Catalog Tool can be used to plan and design catalogs using the layout program Quark Xpress. The centralized maintenance of all necessary data for the catalogs is done in the MOS-TANGRAM system, where the various catalog contents are also specified (articles, the order in which they are shown, size, text and images) for export to the standard layout program Quark Xpress or InDesign.
Procedure: The catalog (number of pages, double-page spreads, content, etc.) is planned, placement of items and design is specified, and all master data for the articles is transferred from the article master data. As soon as the catalog is finished, a file that can be read by Quark Xpress or InDesign is sent to the graphic studio.
