With MOS-TANGRAM software, any number of purchasing orders for any number of suppliers can be processed. Various purchasing strategies are applied here: The MRP module supports orders ranging from the fast and spontaneous type to the regular seasonal order; from material requirements prompted by advertising drives to purchases motivated by the latest trends or fashions:

• Quick ordering by entering article numbers and desired quantity from stored main supplier data. In this way, numerous orders can be made, or at least prepared, within seconds. These orders can also be changed or added to.
• Standard MRP: articles to re-order are proposed based on key warehouse figures. Here, every single item suggested can be changed in quantity and/or price and comments can be added. The goal here is to generate the order directly from MRP with just a few clicks.
• MRP model for seasonal business: By means of trend extrapolation referencing past figures and at the same time forecasting requirements for a defined period, an MRP projection is compiled for material groups based on supplier product ranges.
• Forecast tool: consolidated MRP based on freely definable experience curves as well as advertising campaign plans. In the purchasing function, these individual forecasts are combined and the overall requirements projected.

Purchasing orders can be directly generated out of every MRP model or forecast, or they can be edited and modified (add to, delete or change article/item) beforehand.

In the MRP module, it is also quick and easy to view the complete product range offered by a supplier, including current stock on hand, in order to adjust orders requiring a minimum order value or free delivery limit.
